Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much...
Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

Annamarie was the perfect hostess - she provided a very warm welcome Nothing was too much trouble -she provided medicinal aid for my wife who was recovering from severe case of bronchitis The B & B is located in the most beautiful surroundings with mountains and lochs with exceptional views A short distance up the road is the Glen Coe Visitor Centre which is well worth a visit.... attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift. Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy. He gave great tips on walking routes and on request even prepared me a vegan breakfast, which I greatly appreciated. Lovely to have a chat with. Everything felt clean and I had the impression that the bathroom/room were quite recently refurbished, so in great condition. In contrast to other reviews, I think the bathroom was absolutely big enough. I enjoyed the view on the hills outside my rooms window.JenniferAustralia

You almost feel that you have your own private small cottage. Everything has been nicely remodeled and is exceptionally clean. The bathroom is modern and clean also. The owner Sonja is super nice and conscientious. The location is great, and it is quite easy to walk to downtown Ballachulish. Secure parking onsite with a garden for the dogs to have a play. Pamela the owner made us very welcome and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.
